Scratch Build R32.4.3 - host1x driver not selected in menuconfig

I’m going through a scratch build of the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX with R32.4.3 for the devkit carrier board and I noticed after I apply tegra_defconfig and in menuconfig I see that under Device Drivers → Graphics support → NVIDIA Tegra host1x driver is not selected.

Should this be enabled?

hello dlwalter,

it doesn’t need additional configuration for building kernel images.

That link seems mostly about running KGDB. Can you be more specific where on that page it says I shouldn’t need additional configuration?

Although I did find that the l4t-device-mode wasn’t working (either the usb serial or the usb ethernet).

I had to use menuconfig to enable Device Drivers → USB Support → USB Gadget Support → USB Gadget Drivers in order for that to work.
