SDK Manager Fails After L4T 39.2 Flashing (JetPack 7.2) - Jetson AGX Orin Connection Lost

Hello,

I am currently working on a project using an AIE900A-A0 embedded device equipped with a Jetson AGX Orin module.

I am trying to upgrade the device to JetPack 7.2 using NVIDIA SDK Manager, but I keep encountering the same issue. No matter how many times I retry, the installation always fails at the same point because the connection between the host PC and the Jetson device is lost.

The process is as follows:

  1. I connect the Jetson device to the host PC.
  2. SDK Manager successfully detects the Jetson AGX Orin.
  3. I proceed through Step 2 and enter Step 3.
  4. The first task is flashing L4T 39.2, which takes about 30 minutes to complete.
  5. Once the flashing reaches 100%, the connection to the Jetson device is suddenly lost.
  6. After rebooting the Jetson and restarting the installation in SDK Manager, I find that the L4T 39 flashing process has not been preserved and starts over from the beginning.
  7. The same issue happens every time, resulting in an endless loop.

I have repeated this process multiple times, but the problem is always identical.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or knows what might be causing this? Any suggestions or troubleshooting advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
