I would like to know what the “Host” option for “Hardware Configuration” does, in the SDK Manager. I am having problems flashing to both usb and SD, and was wondering if this option has any influence.
Not quite sure what you are asking. Could you share a screenshot for what you want to ask?
The host machine does not matter. That is to install some software to your x86 host. Not related to jetson.

If you want us to help check why flash error happened on your usb/sd, you can export the error log.
