Sdkmanager docker container can't find connected devices

I am trying to reflash my Yahboom Jetson Nano, 4GB, no sd card using the sdkmanager docker image(Ubuntu 18.04).

When I run “sdkmanager --listconnected”, it gets no connected devices. I’m not sure how to debug from there.

This looks to be a device from 3rdparty. Could you please contact the vendor to get help?

I am trying that but they have not been terribly responsive. Do you have any suggestions for debugging this? I don’t have much experience with this other than making sure I have a good cable. This usually works without an issue with other microcontrollers.
