Second connection on 2x100G ConnectX-5 adapter is coming up.

I’ve installed 2xConnectX-5 adapter (brand new) on the HP server with Ubuntu 16.04. I am setting up 100G connections to the switch. One connections is up (green LED) but the second one is not coming up and stays with blinking orange. What I am missing?

Hi Tom,

ibv_devinfo displays admin ports state.

Do you know if the physical link is down as well? (you can check it using ethool, ibstat etc.)

If the answer is yes, please check that the cable that you are using is supported.

You can use the following link: LinkX Cables and Transceivers | NVIDIA

Please also try to connect the adapter to another switch port, do you still see the same issue?

Regards,

Chen
