I’m currently working on a robotics project using NVIDIA Isaac Sim and related simulation environments. The project involves:
Training a robot to manipulate objects using reinforcement learning (RL).
Integrating real-world scanned objects into the simulator for testing.
Using LiDAR for enhanced perception.
Testing across multiple simulation platforms (e.g., Isaac Sim, PyBullet).
I’m looking for an experienced developer or robotics expert to:
Help set up the simulation environment (including local system setup, Ubuntu/Windows configurations).
Implement reinforcement learning algorithms for object manipulation.
Assist with integrating LiDAR data and scanned 3D models into the simulation.
Create testing protocols to ensure functionality across scenarios like object pickup from tables and conveyor belts.
Requirements:
Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim/Isaac Lab.
Familiarity with reinforcement learning (e.g., PPO, SAC).
Ability to work remotely on my local systems and coordinate effectively within a GMT+2 (Bucharest) schedule.
Knowledge of cross-platform simulation testing.
