Seeking Recommendations for Learning RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet)

Hello forum members,

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently working on a project that involves receiving signals from an FPGA over Ethernet at 10Gbps, and I am specifically interested in implementing RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet) for this purpose. To achieve this, I am using the ConnectX®-4 Lx EN Card.

I am reaching out to the community to seek guidance and resources on where I can learn more about RoCE implementation, especially focusing on the integration with FPGA and utilizing the capabilities of the ConnectX®-4 Lx EN Card. If you have any recommended tutorials, documentation, or online courses that cover this topic, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share them with me.

Additionally, if you have firsthand experience with similar projects or have encountered relevant discussions within the community, your insights would be invaluable.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. I look forward to learning from your expertise and experiences.

Best regards,

Hello,

You can view the following MLNX_OFED User Manual entry about RoCE, to learn about it:
https://docs.nvidia.com/networking/display/mlnxofedv23101190lts/rdma+over+converged+ethernet+(roce)

As for your specific use-case with FPGA, I found this article from a short Google search -

I’m not sure it’s exactly what you’re looking for, but it might be a good starting point for you.

Best Regards,
Jonathan.

Thank you for help.
