Seetting up OptiX on macOS High Sierra

Hello,
I’m trying to set up the OptiX SDK on macOS High Sierra. I was only able to find the download for OptiX 5.01 and not 5.1, will the updated version be available for Mac? Anyway, I downloaded and installed the SDK and navigated to the following directory.

/Developer/OptiX/SDK-precompiled-samples

and tried clicking on some of the *.app demo programs to verify that everything is working. However, the app icon briefly shows up on my dock and then disappears. I guess I’m missing some kind of dependency? The only thing I’ve set up is the OptiX SDK itself, but I don’t believe I have CUDA installed or anything.

Here are my system specs:

macOS High Sierra
2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M

Thanks for any assistance!

Hi, I have the same problem on macOS 10.14. Just set up according to INSTALL-MAC.txt. And I can make file successfully. However, both the precompile files and executables cannot be opened, I mean when clicking on them, nothing happens. Is anybody successfully configure it out?

My system specs:
macOS Majove
Nvidia GeForce GTX 980
Nvidia Webdriver version: 387.10.10.10.40.105
CUDA Driver Version: 9.0.197

Thanks a lot!
