I own an ASUS Ascent GX10 (GB10 / DGX Spark) and I’m trying to access the NVIDIA AI Enterprise entitlement included with the device so I can pull the DGX-Spark NIM variant images.
What works: nvidia-nemotron-nano-9b-v2-dgx-spark:1.0.0-variant pulls and runs fine — so my NGC login/auth is good.
What’s blocked (Access Denied on docker pull):
nvcr.io/nim/nvidia/llama-3.3-nemotron-super-49b-v1-dgx-spark:1.0.0-variant
nvcr.io/nim/nvidia/nemotron-nano-12b-v2-vl-dgx-spark:1.0.0-variant
docker manifest inspect can see both; only the blob pull is denied. The standard non-spark :1 images report “0 compatible profiles” on GB10, so the -dgx-spark variant is required.
Activation attempt: at org.ngc.nvidia.com/activate with device serial TAMSAG005130Y2K, I get:
The serial number(s) you are trying to activate are on hold because you tried them previously or the serial number(s) have already been claimed — please contact NVIDIA support and provide the NGC Reference ID: 9784b451-a2a8-4637-b020-6396ad56c53b.
Could you please help release/associate the included AI Enterprise entitlement to my NGC org so I can pull the DGX-Spark NIM variants? And confirm whether these two Spark-variant images are released/supported on DGX Spark yet.
Details:
- NGC org:
gmtekai
- Device: ASUS Ascent GX10 (GB10), aarch64, sm_121
- Serial:
TAMSAG005130Y2K
- NGC Reference ID:
9784b451-a2a8-4637-b020-6396ad56c53b
Thanks!
AI Enterprise Entitlement is not automatically included with DGX Spark purchase. If you want to access NVIDIA NIMs, you need to join the free NVIDIA Developer program Developer Program | NVIDIA Developer
If you also want an NVAIE Entitlement, you can do so by following instructions in the User Guide: NVIDIA AI Enterprise—DGX Spark Quick Start Guide — DGX Spark User Guide
Thanks @aniculescu — followed up on both suggestions tonight, and I can now narrow this down precisely:
-
Developer Program membership is not the issue. My org (gmtekai) already shows three Active “NVIDIA Developer Program” subscriptions at NVIDIA NGC.
-
The -dgx-spark variant containers are invisible to my org even while logged in. nvcr.io/nim/nvidia/llama-3.3-nemotron-super-49b-v1-dgx-spark returns a 404 in the NGC catalog UI for my logged-in account, while the standard (non-spark) 49B page loads fine with both “NVIDIA Developer Program” and “NVIDIA AI Enterprise” badges. Note the asymmetry: nemotron-nano-9b-v2-dgx-spark is visible AND pulls fine with my key — so this looks like a per-container entitlement gate on the 49B/12B-VL spark variants, not an auth problem on my side.
-
The device serial activation is still blocked. Re-attempted tonight at org.ngc.nvidia.com/activate with serial TAMSAG005130Y2K (ASUS Ascent GX10): “The serial number(s) you are trying to activate are on hold because you tried them previously or the serial number(s) have already been claimed, please contact NVIDIA support and provide the NGC Reference ID: 62cb8c3f-b52d-4fae-bab6-f795768565bf.”
Could you (or someone on the NGC side) release the hold on serial TAMSAG005130Y2K so the activation can complete against org gmtekai? Happy to provide proof of purchase for the unit. Reference ID above.
I had the same problem with my new Nvidia branded spark. Enterprise support said “DGX Spark does not require NGC hardware activation or serial number registration; the errors you’re seeing occur when attempting to activate entitlements that are not applicable to Spark. If you’re blocked generating an NGC API key please use the direct link https://org.ngc.nvidia.com/setup/api-keys as a workaround.” This got me to a position where I have a functional API key to pull down any containers now. Hope it helps you. Good luck and have fun with your rigs!
Not every model on NGC has a -dgx-spark variant, llama-3.3-nemotron-super-49b-v1 for example, does not.
i have been waiting for my approval for enterprise entitlement its been past 3 business days is the any way i can get some help please
