I have 2 windows 2012r2 with a dual port connect x2 card in each, I have created 2 partitions, one on each port, so creating 2 virtual adapters. After rebooting, these virtual adapters do not detect a link /cable after rebooting, if i disable the interface and re-enable it the link comes up. The link always came up before creating the partitions.
I have disabled the original adapters with the default partition set as i do not wish to have them available, I couldn’t find a way to change the default partition.
all other servers on the network appear to be coming up fine after reboot, just the 2 windows servers.
Any suggestions on what may be the problem?
