Setting up surround for LED WALL distribution

Hi

Specs:
Led processor: Brompton Tessera SX40
GPU: 3090 RTX

Led panel: Roe BP2V2

Manager system: Barco E2Gen2

We have a led wall with a total resolution of 8622 x2112.

We have mapped the led wall into three separate monitors with the resolution of 2874 x 2112, that we want to merge as one whole monitor canvas.

When we are using surround we do not get the option to choose what resolution the merge should be. The only option we get is 12288x2160 which is out of range for our led processors. The button for custom resolution is grayed out.

Looks like NVIDIA control panel defaults on to the maximum supported resolution wich would be 4096 x 2160. But that is out of range for our processors so they go black and only solution we have is to restart in safe mode and reinstall the NVIDIA drivers.

We would need help to change the resolution for the surround merge to 8622 x2112 instead.

We found an entry in the developer forums that explains the issue. But due to the out of range issue the screens go black as soon we hit apply due to out of range…

https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/nvidia-surround-detects-4k-instead-of-the-native-1440p-for-multiple-monitors/184247
We also tried cru-1.5.2 to add the resolution we want but due to 2874x2112 being a custom resolution the numbers turn red and we cannot add them with that software.

Anyone have any clue on what could be the issue or any workarounds?

This was solved by using an A6000 card instead. The mosaic function worked perfectly.

Glad you found something that worked!

Minor aside: I think you posed in the wrong forum. This forum is about CloudXR, NVIDIA’s tech for streaming to XR devices (Meta Quest, iPad AR, etc.).
