Hi, I am trying to remotely boot Orin NX 16B such that the external NVME is not mounted as rootfs. Is there any options for me to do it.

Is flash.sh applicable to Orin NX 16GB?

For Network Boot, you only need initrd to be actually flashed, which lives in the QSPI memory and is supported natively by flash.sh, unlike other storage devices like USB drives or NVMe drives.

Will the flash affect my the custom kernel I am currently using?

I think it would not.
Network Boot is just like another boot option in UEFI, like you don’t worry if flashing an NVMe drive affects the system on your USB drive.
