Shutdown request - Jetson TX2 NX

Hi All,

I am using a customised carrier board with Jetson TX2 NX. I would like to check the shutdown request pin functionality. As per the below link

I tried running “sudo shutdown now” command to get a high to low transition. But shutdown request pin is not going from high to low by SW shutdown command. What would be the reason? Is there any other method to check the shutdown request functionality?

you have to monitor that pin on the tx2 and then based on the pin movement you turn around and do the “shutdown -P now”, remember to do some syncs so you don’t kill your file systems.

Dig deeper into the hardware, my take it is an input to the TX2, not an output like you are testing.
