simplep2p and p2pbandwidth latencytest hangs ubuntu

hello
i have two 1080ti from zotac and assus.simple multi gpu test works but i want to train neural network together. but when i run the simplep2p or simplep2p2 bandwidth my system hangs and no error message and i have to restart the system.

i am using ubuntu cuda 9.

please help

probably means your system is not correctly set up to support P2P. P2P requires a specific system topology, as well as proper settings in the PCIE host bridge and PCIE switches if any.

running

nvidia-smi topo -m

may shed some light on it.
