Is possible install and operate both PGI Windows compilers (PVF and Workstation) on Windows OS computer? I would like to use both development environments (Cygwin and Visual Studio).

Hi Michal,

It’s not a problem to install both. Though the two products have will need separate licenses that need to be merged into a single license file.

Feel free to contact PGI Customer support (license@pgroup.com) if you need help on merging your licenses.

Now I am confused, because from your sales manager I did receive the following answer:

“You can use the PGI Workstation or PGI Visual Fortran (not both at the same time) for Windows in Vista or now in Win 7.”
