Small current draw (0.4A) when idle

Hi, when my Nano is idle (and without any peripherals) it draws only 0.4 Amps in the 10W mode. Is that normal?

I thought that it was supposed to draw 2A in the 10W mode all the time.

Would anyone be so kind as to check their current draw with “tegrastats” for comparison when the Nano is idle?

Unless the system is actively using CPU cores and GPU, then they won’t draw much power. 10W mode is a “max of 10W”, not a continuous requirement.

10W is just a power profile, the true power consumption depends on use case.
