Software crashes... all the time

I will be honest here, but I have no idea. Nor do the engineers. We have never seen anything like this. I hate to say it, but can you try another machine? Only to try to rule things in and out. This one may have a hardware defect. Or some very very specific environment setting we do not understand. I have never really “given up” on a case, but we have tried everything. I think the next step is to try it on new hardware. It could be a cpu issue, a gpu issue, a python issue. I know you have been very patient, but there are too many unknowns. Whatever it is, your system is unstable with kit.

I have one more idea. The engineers did say that all of the crashes are due to your python environment. Is it possible you’re running some strange version of python in the background or using VS code to launch the app? We require quite a strict version of python, and it can be damaged if it’s not followed exactly.

When you wiped the machine, did you first install a separate python system before installing Kit?

Is it possible for you to remove all possible traces of python from your system? So that is VS code, and any python libraries. It is not anything to do with your GPU or your drivers.

Hi Richard! Thank you so much for not giving up on me and this issue!
So I have installed python only now! It works slightly better somehow. But still get the crash issues.
Should I uninstall kit and python and then install python first, then kit? If so, are there any partiucular versions of Python I should be looking into, rather than the latest version available for Windows?
Here is a video explaining what’s happening now.

Looking forward to hearing back from you, and again, thank you!
