Hi All,
Greetings.
I apologize if this is not he proper forum for Windows 7 issues. I could not find a Wn 7 forum, and thought that Vista would be most appropriate.
I am having issues with a Windows 64-bit software installation of the Cuda Toolkit and SDK 4.1.28 with a GTX 280 installed with driver version 286.19. After the installation, I am receiving the following:
c:\Users\All Users\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA GPU Computing SDK 4.1\C\bin\win64\R
elease>deviceQuery.exe
[deviceQuery.exe] starting…
deviceQuery.exe Starting…
CUDA Device Query (Runtime API) version (CUDART static linking)
cudaGetDeviceCount returned 38
→ no CUDA-capable device is detected
[deviceQuery.exe] test results…
FAILED
exiting in 3 seconds: 3…2…1…done!
The only other software that I have on the system is Visual Studio 2008 and Symantec Endpoint Protection.
The system is a Dell T3500 with a Xeon W3680 3.33 Ghz CPU and 12 GB of RAM. As I said, there is a GTX 280 card installed on the system with a 750 W PS(getting green lights on the card).
has anyone else experienced issues with the CUDA gtx 280 installation?
Thanks in advance.
