Soil Deformation in Isaac Sim

I’m very new to Isaac Sim, and I haven’t had a lot of time to mess with it. I have been tasked with implementing soil deformation in Isaac Sim so that a lunar rover would leave realistic tire tracks. I’ve read so far that it’s impossible but I am wondering if there’s anyone who has done this. If not I have a few ideas to try. I’m hoping to represent soil as a FEA problem and move the collision mesh and UV map to match. I have no idea if it’s possible to move the collision mesh. Any advice or related work is appreciated.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, Isaac Sim currently is not able to support granular surface simulation and it is not in the roadmap. NVIDIA is providing a new exciting simulator Newton that will support granular surface simulation through the Warp physics engine.
