Solved: After install 390 on Ubuntu 1604, my desktop looks weird

Hi there,

I installed nvidia-390.25 on my Ubuntu 16.04. I have one GTX 1080 Ti on board.

But when I login, my desktop does not show my directories, no side bar. It seems like some parts of my desktop disappeared, like when I open terminal by push right mouseclick, “new terminal”, there is no terminal shows up.

Why this happend?

type nvidia-smi, eveything looks good.

No worry, just purge the ubuntu-desktop, unity, and reinstal them solve the problem.
