As the title says. It doesn’t segfault with 378.13.
Same happens with the Mad Max Vulkan beta.
PS: Both these driver versions were installed from the .run files.

Can you share segfault details and backtrace? What was the previous stable driver for you which don’t have this issue?
As I mentioned in the original post, this doesn’t happen with driver version 378.13. The problem with 378.13 is that I can’t install it on the 4.10 kernel, which I’m currently using.

I’m running Ubuntu MATE 16.04, I just installed the Neon repo for testing KDE and it changed the /etc/*-release files, for some stupid reason.

In The Talos Principle, running the benchmark in Vulkan mode it’s about 2 minutes in. Specifically when the narrator says “We are a story.” With Mad Max, if you opt in to the Feral Vulkan beta and run it with the --feral-benchmark flag it will crash shortly after the scene renders.
Vulkan renderer, nothing else affects it. Running these games in OpenGL doesn’t cause a segfault.

I can but I’m guessing it will be huge for Talos. I’ll post links to my GDrive once I’ve uploaded them.
Right. APITrace only works on GLX contexts, not Vulkan contexts. I’ll see if I can get VKTrace to work.
Please test latest 381.22 and 375.66 drivers.
