Some errors in running deepstream-app

Please provide complete information as applicable to your setup.

**• Hardware Platform (Jetson / GPU)**RTX3080
• DeepStream Version6.4
When disabled [sink0], I have error as

Warning: 'input-dims' parameter has been deprecated. Use 'infer-dims' instead.
gstnvtracker: Loading low-level lib at /opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream/lib/libnvds_nvmultiobjecttracker.so
GPUassert: invalid device ordinal src/modules/NvMultiObjectTracker/context.cpp 61

If I set it enable=1, I have no issue.

Then when stop app using ‘q’ or ctrl c, I have the following error

malloc(): unaligned tcache chunk detected
Aborted (core dumped)

from

gst_element_set_state (appCtx->pipeline.pipeline, GST_STATE_NULL); inside
function destroy_pipeline (AppCtx * appCtx)
in deepstream_app.c file.
What is wrong?

could you share the configuration files you modified? let me have a try.

iFocus_main.txt (6.1 KB)

Thank you

Thanks for the sharing! no sink is unreasonable. please enable one sink.

So one sink with fake one. Then how about error at stopping program using key q or control c

I am unable to reproduce that crash issue. here is the log. log-3.26.txt (2.7 KB). could you use gdb to get the crash stack?

gdb —args ./deepstream-app -c …/…/config file?

Used the command
gdb —args ./deepstream-app -c …/…/config file

When key in ‘q’ to stop program, I have the following outputs.

Thread 0x7fffe11fd000 (LWP 5256) exited]
[Thread 0x7fffe09fc000 (LWP 5257) exited]
nvstreammux: Successfully handled EOS for source_id=0
nvstreammux: Successfully handled EOS for source_id=1
malloc(): unaligned tcache chunk detected
[Thread 0x7fff41fff000 (LWP 5269) exited]
[Thread 0x7fff58ff9000 (LWP 5268) exited]

Thread 1 “deepstream-app” received signal SIGABRT, Aborted.
__pthread_kill_implementation (no_tid=0, signo=6, threadid=140737034633216) at ./nptl/pthread_kill.c:44
44 ./nptl/pthread_kill.c: No such file or directory.

The error is happening at
gst_element_set_state (appCtx->pipeline.pipeline, GST_STATE_NULL); inside
function destroy_pipeline (AppCtx * appCtx)
in deepstream_app.c file.

  1. did you modify the code? could you continue to narrow down this crash issue? destroy_pipeline and deepstream-app code are opensource.
  2. did you test in docker container? if not, Please provide complete information as applicable to your setup.
    • Hardware Platform (Jetson / GPU)

• DeepStream Version

• JetPack Version (valid for Jetson only)

• TensorRT Version

• NVIDIA GPU Driver Version (valid for GPU only)

• Issue Type( questions, new requirements, bugs)

• How to reproduce the issue ? (This is for bugs. Including which sample app is using, the configuration files content, the command line used and other details for reproducing)

• Requirement details( This is for new requirement. Including the module name-for which plugin or for which sample application, the function description)

Ok sure I’ll look into it. I changed a bit on deepstream-app. It should b from my modified part. Thanks
