So I got these new speakers the other day, and no matter what i try to do, these brand new shiny speakers, will only work with the Linux operating system. Everything I throw at it on Linux works just perfectly. Then, after switching over to my dual booted Microsoft 10 box, the sound dips in and out, speeds way up, speeds way down, and even starts skipping frames … about exactly HALF THE TIME.
This situation is so bizarre to me! I thought devices were basically OS agnostic, and simply needed a driver built for the host OS, in order to function properly. My experience demonstrates, this is not the case at all for my new speakers. They are really operating at almost exactly half of their capacity for performance, unless I switch over to it’s favored Linux operating system.
Anyone experience anything like this before? I can’t say that I have, and I’ve use all sorts of different hardware with microsoft and linux.
