Speedtree import to isaac sim

Hey everybody!

I am trying to set up a simulation of an outdoor robotic task including trees and have been wondering if speedTree models could help. Found some speedtrees here: SpeedTree | NVIDIA Developer
When importing them to Isaac Sim they consist of several geomSubsets that cannot seem to be edited.
Now I am wondering if this is the case for all speedtree models?
Did anybody ever purchase speedtree models for an import in isaac sim and could tell me tell me to what extent the models can be edited and what individual parts, subsets and meshes they consist of?

I appreciate any help!

Thanks in advance

Actually a much better option is to simply open the NVIDIA ASSETS tab inside of Issac Sim and there you will see hundreds of super high quality free Nvidia tree assets already set up for Omniverse and RTX. No speedtree required !!

hi Richard, thanks for the tip, this helps a lot!
I can imagine, these trees are not SimReady, right? I am interesting in a robotic fruit picking task, but it seems like, the oranges in the orange tree cannot be picked, do I see that correctly?
Thanks!

No they may not be. But its a start. You can make them sim ready potentially.
