For the past 15 years, Team Envision has been a proud participant in the Shell Eco-marathon, consistently pushing the boundaries of energy-efficient vehicle design and innovation. Our achievements include three Communication Awards and three Technical Innovation Awards, recognizing our creativity, technical expertise, and dedication to excellence.

As we look to the future, we are thrilled to announce our participation in two major competitions in 2025:

Shell Eco-marathon Asia – February, in Qatar
Teknofest, hosted by the Turkish Government – our first participation in an international competition outside Shell Eco-marathon.
Looking ahead to 2026, we plan to further expand our horizons by entering the autonomous category of the Shell Eco-marathon, a significant step toward integrating advanced AI and autonomous technologies into our designs.

The NVIDIA Jetson Nano offers the ideal combination of computing power and AI capabilities for our evolving project needs. Incorporating this technology into our vehicle’s architecture will enable us to enhance functionality, optimize efficiency, and prepare us for the challenges of autonomous systems.

However, as a student team operating with limited financial resources, we face challenges in acquiring cutting-edge components like the Jetson Nano. We humbly request your support in the form of a parts sponsorship or a discount to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

It mentions that to be eligible one has to be a;
Full-time faculty at accredited academic institutions that award research
degrees to PhD students are eligible.
Does that mean a faculty member has to apply on behalf of a student team?
Kindly do answer my query.
