Strange "Start of Frame" and "End of Frame" Timestamps

Hi,
We are getting strange timestamps with the
iSensorTimestampTsc->getSensorSofTimestampTsc(), iSensorTimestampTsc->getSensorEofTimestampTsc()
functions on jetpack 32.6.1 with an imx264 camera (leopard imaging).

Here are the timestamps we get:
sof= 2307916711000, eof= 73854614340000
Sensor Timestamp: 2292216395000

I would have expected sof and eof to be really close numbers.

I attach below the small modification we made to the userAutoExpsoure argus sample (based on some prior forum posts).

IMX264 is a global shutter sensor. Could that account for the difference? How do we debug this?

It looks like one timestamp is MONOTONIC_RAW while the other one is TSC.

What’s the version?

I am getting the same timestamps on six different sensors. (We have a 6-camera setup).

Does it the same sensor module?(IMX264 x6)

Yes they are all imx264 sensors. I don’t have any other cameras available.

Could you attached your binary to clarify the problem.

Which binary or source code do you need? I shared the argus sample code above. Are you referring to the driver?

OK, could you check again after booted to OS after much long time. Suppose the system time and RTCP time need sync.

Same problem. Xavier NX has been turned on for more than a day. It looks like sof is somewhat reasonable as a MONOTONIC_RAW time maybe but eof is completely off.

Right the EOF looks like weird. Could you check the trace log for the timestamp of the FE tag.

The trace show the 0x08000040 0x40 means CHANSEL_FAULT of PIXEL_RUNAWAY means VI receives more lines than expected. What’s the output resolution? Report more lines(width) from sensor driver and dts to fix this error to check if help on the issue.

Issue was solved with FGPA firmware update.
