I was wondering if someone could help explain. It looks like the Orin Nano Super is the Orin Nano 8GB SoM with a new carrier board?
What is confusing to me, if this is the case, the Dev Kit is $249, but if I wanted to buy the SoM it is $369 (minus fan mount). Is the SoM going to drop in price as well?
Basically the price also depends on the order quantity, and 1K is for suggested price at Jetson FAQ | NVIDIA Developer.

That’s just such weird pricing. I can buy a super nano kit and get an SOM + heat sink and a carrier board I don’t need for $250. Sure, no warranty if I sell it, but given I need quantity of about 100-200 for our product, I’ll save probably $125 per. That seems crazy high for buying a warranty basically for three years.
