Support for multiple high resolution USB 3.0 cameras?

Hi DaneLLL, Problem with TX1. At the kernel level, has something fundamentally changed? I no longer need to follow the instructions for the above link?
I rebuilt the kernel using this instruction:

It did not help

Hi maxfashko,
Can you try the usb camera on default built image/rootfs?
https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/dlc/l4t-jetson-tx1-driver-package-28-1
https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/dlc/l4t-sample-root-filesystem-28-1

If the camera is standard, it should work fine on default image. No?

Hi DaneLLL, Are the kernel sources and the patch for driver USB? How to use it? As well as the instructions i sent in the previous message?

Hi maxfashko,
USB 3.0 is enabled by default. You should be able to do plug and play.

Hi, DaneLLL. Is there a detailed instruction how can I use this?

Hi,
https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1019640/jetpack-3-1-mdash-l4t-r28-1-released-for-jetson-tx1-tx2/

Please try to flash the image via Jetpack 3.1 and then insert the usb cameras. There is one usb port on board so you should need a usb hub.

I made the installation with the above packages. Nothing changed. Everything is the same.

Hi maxfashko, in the log you shared in #13, I don’t see the camera gets detected, so it fails at detection?

This is the conclusion?

ubuntu@tegra-ubuntu:~$ ls /dev/video*
/dev/video0 /dev/video1 /dev/video2
ubuntu@tegra-ubuntu:~$

We have verified the usb cameras on r28.1/TX1
OK: Logitech c930e
Logitech c270(mentioned in #19)
See3CAM_CU130(verified internally)

NG: See3CAM_10CUG

uvc driver is in kernel and I only see dmesg in #13. From the log, I only can see Sony Storage gets detected but do not see usb camera gets detected. We don’t have See3CAM_10CUG. It can be helpful if you are willing to share more full dmesg.

Some other users may have See3CAM_10CUG and can share experience/suggestion.

.

Well, here’s a more detailed log:

Please try this patch [PATCH] [media] uvcvideo: zero seq number when disabling stream

This does not work

Hi maxfashko,
Do you see anything suspicious in enabling trace?

echo 0xffff > /sys/module/uvcvideo/parameters/trace
