Support for VVols

Hi all,

We have a number of VMware hosts using ConnectX-3 EN adaptors. We’d like to use VMware VVols but I can’t find the ConnectX-3 EN on the compatability list.

From what I can see the adaptors need to support Secondary LUN IDs

Does anybody know if this is possible or if a firmware update might be coming along to enable this?

Thank for contacting the Mellanox Community.

Unfortunately we do not support VMware Vvols at this moment nor there is an firmware update in the works for enabling this feature.

Make sure you check our firmware page regularly for new updates on firmware with new features.
