In InfiniBand you need only one SM (subnet manager) in the network. so, if you have one SX6036 that runs the SM, you can have all the rest of the switches to be SX6025 (externally managed).
The SX6025 is not count as a node, but as a switch, so, in case you have 4 switches, you can still have 648 nodes (servers).
