Syslog always print "Module_id 42 Severity 3 : NvEnc_NVVIDEO_Error: Unsupported frameRate"

Hi, dear sir, recently we upgraded our platform from jetpack 5.1.0 to jetpack 5.1.2 as well as the multi-media application, but after migrating to new multi-media api, using NvBufSurface instead of nvbuf_utils, when I try to set encoder fps, no error returns, but much more WARN printed in syslog, what happened? The log is printed all the time if my application runs
encoder_->setFrameRate(20, 1) this return success.

what’t more, I called the api setFrameRate only once
syslog print as below

Hi,
For information, do you observe the issue while running 01_video_encode sample? Would like to replicate the issue first and check further. Please try the reference samples and see if the issue is present.

The sample is ok. anyway, How can I do to reduce the log?

Hi,
We try the command and don’t see the print:

01_video_encode$ ./video_encode a.yuv 1280 720 H264 a.264 -fps 20 1

You may check if header files are upgraded to Jetpack 5.1.2. Probably version of header files is mismatched, triggering the print.

Hi,I have checked,all header files are avaliable. how to disable it?

Hi,
There is no way to disable it. Maybe dominator and numerator are swapped in your application? If 01_video_encode runs fine, it doesn’t look to be an issue in our prebuilt libs.

Hi,I haved checked my code,the same code runs well on jp5.1. could you tell me which lib prints this log.

Hi,
If you run the application on Orin developer kit, is the print present? Some check is added to make sure the encoder parameters are correctly set. It looks like framerate is not set correctly in the application and triggers the print.
