T10P bandwidth problem

Hi,

My T10P board is not showing the expected bandwidth:

Quick Mode
Host to Device Bandwidth for Pageable memory

.
Transfer Size (Bytes) Bandwidth(MB/s)
33554432 1415.2

Quick Mode

My driver is the latest one (Linux driver 177.67) and also BIOS is the most recent one for my motherboard (GeForce7100/nForce630i Chipset).

I read in another posting that I’d better check PCI-express “activated” but my BIOS doesn’t have such a menu. Anyway, I can see using nvidia-settings GT200 configuration contains “PCI-express 16x”.

As for power cable connection, I connected two 6-pin connectors.

What could be the reasons for having low bandwidth?

Thanks,

Try using pinned memory. If things improves a lot, then CPU <-> DRAM bandwidth might be the culprit for low pageable memory bandwidth.

If things don’t improve, then maybe a deficient BIOS, or a PCIe x16 connector that only has 8 lanes connected.
