Regarding your second question, the MIPI CSI data does not go directly to the CPU or GPU. It first enters the dedicated NVCSI hardware, then passes through the VI (and optionally the ISP) before being stored in system memory. From there, the CPU, GPU, or other accelerators can access the image data for processing.
