Target linux machine password changed

I have been using Nsight systems to profile a linux target application from Mac using ssh connection.
But after the login password of the linux machine has changed, it stopped working with the authentication failure, but there is no way to change the stored password.
How can I change or reset the stored password?

The password is stored in an Nsight Systems .ini file, in the equivalent of $HOME/.config/NVIDIA Corporation/NVIDIA Nsight Systems.ini . There is a section named [PasswordStorage] where you could delete the outdated password.

Alternatively, if you have not updated your installation recently, we have shipped 2021.2 which contains many improvements to the product.
