tcp/ip stack installation?

Hello Everyone, I’ve installed the NGC tensorflow container but have found there is no networking within it. I can see that docker has assigned an IP from the bridge but I’m at a loss for how to install the network manager or drivers or how to enable a virtual nic (whicherver is proper for a container) as I use Jupyter a lot!

Can someone point me in the right direction? I’ve tried to download-only via apt to the shared directory but the dependencies fail, and I’ve been unable to get them all to download locally…

Using Ubuntu 16.04 as the core os.

Thanks,
Aaron

You don’t have to install any networking stack into the container; you just have to map the ports you need. See https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1049001/container-nvcaffe/how-to-use-jupyter-notebook-with-nvcaffe/post/5323778/#5323778 for specific instructions for Jupyter.

Hope this helps,
Cliff
