the installer stops with:

we do not support windows-xp officially.
on your case, you can uncheck usb driver when installing and install it manually after installing complete

Thanks, will try - on some pages XP is still mentioned as a valid host OS

What about Visual Studio 2008? Is it supported?

Nsight Tegra, Visual Studio Edition only supports VS 2010.
