tensorflow-gpu on Jetson Platform

Hi colleagues,
I am trying to install tensorflow-gpu on Jetson Platform following instructions here:
https://docs.nvidia.com/deeplearning/frameworks/install-tf-jetson-platform/index.html
and executing command:
sudo pip3 install --pre --extra-index-url https://developer.download.nvidia.com/compute/redist/jp/v42 tensorflow-gpu

Everything goes fine till I get this not found exception:
https://developer.download.nvidia.com/compute/redist/jp/v42/tensorflow-estimator.

I looked up the URL but no tensorflow-estimator is listed. Just tensorflow-gpu.
https://developer.download.nvidia.com/compute/redist/jp/v42

I successfully install tensorflow-estimator executing: pip3 install -U tensorflow-estimator.
But the command above to install tensporflow-gpu is looking for tensorflow-estimator on that URL and of course its not there and I get an exception.
Is tensorflow-estimator missing at that URL by design?

I appreciate any help and looking fwd to your feedback.

Hi,

We only provide the standard TensorFlow package currently.
But I think you can just use the package from pip3.

Thanks.

Thx so much for your reply. The link I am following provided above is an NVidia link specifically for installing tensorflow gpu on jetson platform.
– is it an official link? if so why is the tensorflow-estimator missing from :
https://developer.download.nvidia.com/compute/redist/jp/v42 ?
– or am i not following it right?

Is there an NVidia link that explains steps to install tensorflow gpu on nano?
Thx again and looking fwd to your reply…

Hi,

Do you use this command?

sudo pip3 install --pre --extra-index-url https://developer.download.nvidia.com/compute/redist/jp/v42 tensorflow-gpu

You don’t need tensorflow-estimator to finish the installation.
May I have your complete log for checking?

Thansk.
