Hello,
we’re planning to introduce some graphic accelleration boards in our vdi (Vmware) environment.
I’ve read that K1 boards will be discontinued by 31/12/2016.
Is it correct to say that Tesla M10 will replace K1?
Thanks

Hi NC
Yes that’s correct. the M10 is the successor to the K1 and anyone looking to add a little bit of GPU should now be planning to use the M10 rather the K1.
With the architecture change (Kepler to Maxwell) comes density, performance and licensing changes. Information on the M10 can be found here: Tesla M10 GPU Accelerator | NVIDIA and information on GRID Licensing can be found here: http://images.nvidia.com/content/pdf/grid/guides/GRID-Licensing-Guide.pdf

Thanks Ben.
