TESLA T4 cap on game instances on a single card in Linux?

Hi, I’m using a Tesla T4 card to run multiple instances of a single UE4 video game.

If I run them on windows I can start as many instances as the GPU/CPU can handle.

But when I’ve now swapped over to Ubuntu it seemingly caps the number of instances at 8.
I don’t get an error or anything the game just fails to launch when I try to run instance number 9.

Does anyone know if there’s an inherent limitation to Linux or Nvidia Linux drivers in this regard?

I never heard of such a restriction, wouldn’t make sense especially on a datacenter gpu. I’d rather suspect this to be an application limit.
