Tesla T4

I would like to know which motherboard can I use with Tesla T4. And I would like to know to which is the best processor to work together with Tesla T4 and the mother board that someone can tell me.

Hi @ngtfriend,

The Tesla T4 is designed for server/data center use.
For best performance with NVIDIAT4, make sure that you use a server that has been
qualified for T4 that meets the thermal and airflow requirements for NVIDIA T4. Refer
to the following website for the latest list of qualified T4 servers:

More information can be found here: https://www.nvidia.com/content/dam/en-zz/Solutions/Data-Center/tesla-t4/t4-tensor-core-product-brief.pdf

Tks for the links, but i would like to know the components that should work together to buy and create a workstation or something like that to AI trainning.

Please, can you provide me those informations? Which motherboard and which processor?

Hi again,

as Tom said, the T4 is not suitable to be built into a typical desktop workstation.

An example setup that you find on an old informational page of ours would be

Training- Workload: ResNet-50;
CPU Server: Dual-Socket Xeon E5-2698 v4@3.6GHz, 512GB System Memory;
GPU Server: Dual Xeon E5-2698 v4@3.6GHz with 4x T4 GPUs;

That implies you need a data center service provider (or your own data center) to provide you with the server hardware and other infrastructure to run Training on that T4.

For workstation use you should rather consider our RTX offerings.
