I can’t seem to locate the latest firmware for Nvidia Tesla cards? Is it not posted on the Nvidia site?
I’m trying to update a bunch of P100’s to the latest firmeware.
Tesla P100 was introduced four years ago. What makes you think that there is newer firmware for the P100 than the one that is installed on the hardware you have? Why specifically are you “trying to update”?
The sales and support channel for Tesla GPUs are system integrators. There seem to be Tesla P100 BIOS updates available when I google for two major ones:
HPE Tesla P100 firmware
Dell Tesla P100 firmware

Because I have cards with newer video bios.

I was seeing some performance issues which got resolved by updating the bios.
I saw both of the “Google” results. I did a Google search before posting here.

So, NVidia provides the driver packages on their websites, why wouldn’t they provide video bios updates as well. They don’t appear to which is why I was asking.
To resolve my problem, I just saved the newer firmware and uploaded it back to the other cards.
I can’t read NVIDIA’s mind. My take: Driver packages are generic across GPUs. Firmware is specific to each GPU, hence part of support activity. Which falls into the bailiwick of system integrators in the case of Tesla GPUs.
