I’m using the constant memory (which maximum size is 65536) for buffering text I search the word in and I got a good performance improvement!
But unfortunately I may search only 1 word in this text now (adding words to global memory decrease performance linearly).
- May I use a texture memory to store the dictionary (word list) and how to declare it?
- Will it significantly increase a performance due to texture caching instead global memory access?
- Could you please provide an example of such texture memory use (how to push values to texture, how to fetch the values)?
