Module: Jetson Agx Thor
Jetpack Version: V7.0
The network information of MBGE on our customized carrier board + Agx Thor Module is : 10G x4 , while the information on dev-kit is :25 G x 4. Our customized carrier board design is the same as dev-kit.
Would you please give me some guidance to resolve this problem? If we need to install network card driver ?
Please follow up the topic: Jetson AGX Thor: 25GbE Links Established but Throughput Capped at ~10 Gbps - Jetson & Embedded Systems / Jetson Thor - NVIDIA Developer Forums.
Currently 17G is the limit for now. We are still checking this internally.
Thank you for your quick reply.
I’ve read the content of the link you provided. Our problem is different. The 4 ports on our customized board can not negotiate 25Gbps, only negotiate 10Gbps. I don’t know what caused this problem.
Our problem is different with this topic. the 4 x 10Gbps isn’t the actual throughput. The mgbe ports on our customized board only shows : 4 x 10Gbps , not 4 x 25Gbps. It’s not normal . but I don’t know what caused this problem.
Even default Thor devkit is running in 10G *4. Your case is same as devkit.
Need extra configuration to enable 25G*4.
How to make the configuration to enable 25G*4? Would you please give me some guidance
please follow
However, currently there is known issue that only about 16G is possible to achieve when *4 ports are all enabled.
Thank you very much.

We want to enable 25-Gigabit Ethernet on QSFP Port.
We update the nv-platform/tegra264-p4071-0000.dtsi as follow:
Build the DTB and replace the tegra264-p4071-0000+p3834-0008-nv.dtb
Update Linux_for_Tegra/bootloader/generic/tegra264-bpmp-3834-0008-4071-xxxx.dtb as follows:
copy it to the locations. then reflash the board
but it doesn’t work. we cannot see the 25G on network setting.
Those are the files we modified:
tegra264-bpmp-3834-0008-4071-xxxx.dts.txt (17.3 KB)
tegra264-p4071-0000.dtsi.txt (15.5 KB)
Please help me find where is the mistake. Thank you so much.
Are you sure tegra264-bpmp-3834-0008-4071-xxxx.dtb is really flashed into the board?
I am not sure. I just follow every step on this link. then flash the board with cmd :sudo ./l4t_initrd_flash.sh jetson-agx-thor-devkit internal. how to check if tegra264-bpmp-3834-0008-4071-xxxx.dtb is flashed into the board?
Do you have tegra264-bpmp-3834-0008-4071-xxxx.dtb file in your Linux_for_Tegra/bootloader?
I mean not Linux_for_Tegra/bootloader/generic/
yes, I just cheked , the tegra264-bpmp-3834-0008-4071-xxxx.dtb is in Linux_for_Tegra/bootloader
Are you sure the content in this file is same as the one you modified in Linux_for_Tegra/bootloader/generic/?
I copy the new tegra264-bpmp-3834-0008-4071-xxxx.dtb again and flash the board, now it works. The mgbe ports shows 25G, Thank you very much.
