The problem of using embedded metadata height

Hello, everyone,

Now i want to use embedded metadata height to realize auto exposure in AR0234.
When i set embedded metadata height is 4 in device-tree and configure the AR0234’s embedded data, the sensor worked normally. But when i did not set it, the sensor worked incorrectly. So the embedded metadata height must match the sensor of embedded data? Because when i set the AR0234’s embedded data or do not set it via register configuration, i must change device tree. It is too tedious.
