The target is in a bad state

The Jetson target is in a bad state and cannot be flashed. Please manually put the target into recovery mode and then retry flashing.

you need to manually short some pins and put it in to recovery mode

the command to force unit to recovery mode , wont work out

sudo reboot --force forced-recovery

i put it in recovery mode manually , i didn’t force it

Nothing is forced here. This thing is just called “force recovery mode” (FRC). It is just a name…

Is your host PC a VM?

no it’s not a VM

Is this NV devkit or custom board?

Have you tried other usb cable?

Did you ever flash this board before?

It’s integrated into the IPC520A Siemens.
Yes, I tried different cables, but the same problem persists.
I have flashed it before without issues.

yes i flashed before

Then what is changed here? Did you change anything ? Cable/host/carrier board?

Cannot get into recovery mode is a hardware side issue.

I didn’t change anything. I’m having an issue with the Carte not detecting the NVMe.
For Siemens the compatible software is version 4.6, rev3, and I want to flash it with this software, but I encountered an error.

I still don’t get what are you trying to say here.

  1. You told us you flashed it before and it could work.

  2. Siemens the compatible software is version 4.6, rev3 so you want to use this version.

So what was in use in (1) that could work at that time?

First time i used JP 4.6.5

Then could you try if that 4.6.5 still can flash this board right now?

No, I can’t flash it with any version.

Then please RMA this board.

There’s no solution to reset to factory settings.

There is no factory reset thing in Jetson world.
What you could do is put the board into recovery mode and flash with host PC.
