I’m running debian Jessie on a ThinkPad T530 with Optimus disabled. I need to use the display port (only connected to the nvidia card). I want to boot my laptop only with the Nvidia card. No bumblebee. I disable Optimus in the BIOS and select “Discrete card”. The proprietary driver is installed and I manage to boot into GnomeShell using “acpi=off”.
Using “acpi=off” is working like a charm, but multiple other features are now broken, brithness, suspend, sleep, etc. I’m looking for a more permanent solution.
I didn’t manage to get logs when the system is not booting, so I took pictures.

May I get anything else to help you ?
