Timestamp read from tf is incorrect

Greetings all,

I encountered an interesting problem: When I use ros2 run tf2_ros tf2_echo odom base_link in a scene with carter robot, errors occur sporadically at the simulation time read.

In the image, you see the output of the said command. If the nanosec part of the timestamp has less than 9 digits, it still is added as decimals directly, causing jumps in the time line. The highlighted time stamp is an example.

I use Isaac Sim v. 4.2.0 and ros2 humble.

Looking forward to your solutions.
Best wishes,

upyzm

Hi @upyzm

Please, note that this is not an Isaac Sim issue but a GitHub - ros2/geometry2: A set of ROS packages for keeping track of coordinate transforms. one. Open a new issue in their repository for further discussion.
