We are reporting a critical bug where the House Sync function cannot be activated because the “Timing Server” configuration fails when using a Genlock source with firmware compatible with the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell (v3.04 or higher).
To verify this firmware-related regression, we conducted internal testing using a Ross Video SPG-9000 as the Genlock source. The results are as follows:
RTX 6000 Ada + RTX PRO Sync (v2.02 FW): PASS (Timing Server Configured)
RTX 6000 Ada + RTX PRO Sync (v3.04 FW): FAIL (Timing Server Unavailability)
RTX 6000 Ada + RTX PRO Sync (v3.06 FW): FAIL (Timing Server Unavailability)
RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell + RTX PRO Sync (v3.04 FW): FAIL (Timing Server Unavailability)
RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell + RTX PRO Sync (v3.06 FW): FAIL (Timing Server Unavailability)
As shown above, any firmware version from 3.04 onwards prevents the server configuration for House Sync. This suggests a significant regression in the synchronization logic within the new firmware branch. We kindly request that you escalate this matter to the relevant engineering department for a high-priority bug fix.
Additionally, we would like to know if there have been any hardware revisions in the recently manufactured RTX PRO Sync units compared to the older versions (formerly Quadro Sync II). Specifically, do newly produced units (with potential hardware revisions) also exhibit this same Timing Server configuration bug when running v3.04+ firmware?
