There is no need for a TCC driver on Linux, because the Linux driver model is already conducive to high performance. TCC exists on Windows to get around the limitations of the default WDDM driver model. Basically, the TCC driver presents the GPU to the operating system as a “3D controller”, rather than a regular graphics card that Windows can use for the GUI.
