Hi team, i’m using jetson orin nx with jetpack 5.1.2 for my integration.So i need to use tnr strength for my evaluation.
How can we get the range details about “tnr-strength”? Do you have any document for this?
Actually It is properly working inbetween 0.1 to 1.0 only in our ORIN NX setup.
Can you please make a clarity on this range doubt on “tnr-strength” parameter.

Do yo mean the property in nvarguscamerasrc plugin? Or the algorithm in VPI? Would like to confirm which interface you are using.

The nvarguscamerasrc plugin supports tnr-stregth range from -1 to 1.
But we could see gradual decrease in noise only when setting from 0.1 to 1. For other values undefined behavior is observed. (ie) for lower values such 0, the noise in the scene less when compared with 0.3.
So wanted to understand this behavior in the ISP and what is the actual range for tnr-strength.

although the tnr-strength range from -1 to +1, all those negative values will running with auto-control.
tnr-stregth=1 it’s given most noise reduction strength.
tnr-stregth=0.1 it’s given less noise reduction strength.
default capture pipeline is running with auto-control.
